MRP fitness was established in the year 1986 in the city of Bhubaneswar the capital of Odisha state, India by a few international level sportsmen and martial artists who came together to create an institution for promotion of healthy living and physical fitness. In the initial years the focus was on developing healthy thinking and exercise in schools, working with young children in imparting martial art and physical fitness training.

 Gradually we introduced Yoga,Pranayama and Holistic Meditation as one of our services, however, remaining very institutional in our approach.  Slowly but steadily as our group was getting formalised into a business venture, we moved into offering total health management, stress management, old age mobility management and weight management programs through Naturopathy, Acu-Pressure, Reiki, The group invested in creating several centers of excellence (COE) within its members, by sending them to leading institutions for training who came back and started working as Fitness Experts with defense, police service aspirants and sportsmen for whom physical endurance, strength training and self-healing was a requirement. We are happy to be associated with several such successful  customers year on year.

As our clientele increased, we realized that equipment played quite an important role in our business and we were spending huge amounts of effort in trying to access whatever little was available in the local market. Customers had to wait for days before we could end up providing a therapy and in most cases we could not close the loop, as we just couldn't get an equipment. What we realised is that in those days there was no concept of a health centre or gymansium offering modern fitness, weight loss and strength training equipment in Bhubaneswar and this resulted in creating a huge need-gap in the market. This is when we thought to develop a gym that provided easy access to all fitness needs with one of the best equipment range on offer.  Thus was born our first official venture " Euro Gym" in 1998. Euro Gym was a pioneer and brought to the Bhubaneswar market the most modern gym with state-of-the-art facilities and services.
